Frequently asked questions
About Pucent
What does Pucent do?
Shenzhen Pucent Technology Co., Ltd was founded in 2007 and focuses on custom battery pack design and manufacturing, covering battery selection, BMS matching, mechanical design, thermal management and safety design across lithium-ion, sodium-ion and solid-state battery packs.
What exactly do you deliver?
We deliver finished battery packs. The process starts with battery selection — we recommend a suitable battery model based on the characteristics of your product and how it will be used — and continues through BMS matching, mechanical design, thermal management and safety design, delivered to your installation dimensions and interface requirements.
Selection and samples
How is the battery model selected?
We recommend a suitable battery model based on the characteristics of your product and how it will be used. Just tell us the application, runtime or standby requirement, operating temperature range, installation space limits, charge/discharge frequency and target cost — while meeting your performance needs we pick the most cost-effective option from lithium-ion, sodium-ion or solid-state batteries, so the pack fits your product and helps you control cost. The above describes the general matching logic only. The final selection is made by us — your requirements come first, and we work to reduce your cost as far as safety allows.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
There is no fixed quantity limit. We support both small builds and high-volume delivery, and multiple models can run in parallel. If you have a fixed delivery date, talk to us early so we can schedule production.
Do you charge for samples?
We can provide samples and test data. The cost is confirmed according to the specific model and quantity.
Certifications and routes
What certifications do you hold?
The company has obtained GB/T 19001-2016 / ISO 9001:2015 quality management system certification, GB/T 24001-2016 / ISO 14001:2015 environmental management system certification and GB/T 45001-2020 / ISO 45001:2018 occupational health and safety management system certification, together with product certifications including CE, IEC 62133, UL 2054, RoHS, REACH and UNBS, plus export transport compliance documents such as the UN38.3 test report, air and sea transport identification reports and MSDS — all with verifiable certificate or report numbers.
Do you make sodium-ion battery packs?
Yes. Sodium-ion battery packs are in volume production, with batch delivery experience and live orders. They are used mainly in energy storage, low-speed mobility, power tools, backup and emergency power, and starting and outdoor power. Certification and testing are handled after the applicable items are confirmed against your target market and model.
Do you make solid-state battery packs?
Yes. Solid-state battery packs are in volume production with live orders, and are designed to your requirements. Solid-state battery packs belong to the broader lithium battery family.
Delivery and working together
Which form factors are available?
Three: prismatic, cylindrical and pouch. All three are available across lithium-ion, sodium-ion and solid-state battery packs.
What is the service life of the packs?
Our packs use a long-life design with low self-discharge. Actual life depends on how the pack is used — charge and discharge frequency, operating temperature and depth of discharge — and can be discussed against your specific conditions.
How is shipping arranged?
Shipping is flexible: nominate your own forwarder, or ask us to arrange the forwarder for export — the two can be combined freely to fit your process.
What certification does my target market need?
It depends on your target market access requirements and the specific model. Just tell us your target market and the model — existing certificates and reports are provided directly; where additional items are required, we take on the submission, rectification and report issuance, or work with the standards and testing bodies you specify. The plan and arrangements are confirmed with you before we proceed.
What are typical lead times?
Lead time depends on the model, quantity and production schedule at the time. We include the schedule when we confirm the plan. If you have a fixed deadline, please raise it early so we can reserve production capacity.
How can I contact you?
Use the enquiry form on our Contact page, or email sales1@pucent.com directly. Share the application, runtime or standby requirement, operating temperature range, installation space limits, charge and discharge frequency and target cost, and the selection proposal and plan come back in one pass.
